Research Interests

I am broadly interested in social behavior and neuroscience. How do previous social interactions shape future behavior? How are these changes represented in the brain? How do these behaviors in turn feed back into shaping the social environment? Currently, I am researching these questions with the Western honey bee, Apis mellifera. My focus is to uncover the mechanisms by which the early life social environment causes changes in adult aggressive behavior
