Research Interests

I am a PhD student and researcher in Dr. Gonthier's Agroecology lab. My research interests revolve around how landscape composition can influence population size of the invasive spotted wing Drosophila (Drosophila suzukii). By better understanding what features of a natural landscape influence this pest, I hope to better predict both the seasonality and overall risk of SWD infestation to ultimately help berry producers mitigate this pest's damage. My future work will include research into SWD control methods that reduce insecticide usage.
