Association members elect fellows for their distinguished efforts to advance science or its application. Dr. Palli joins Drs. Haynes and Obrycki fellows of AAAS in the Entomology department.

    Congratulations to UK Entomology graduate students who brought back honors from the 2017 Ohio Valley Entomological Society of America (OVEA) Annual Forum. David Olson's presentation won 1st Prize in the MS Division. Lindsay Wallis 's presentation won 1st Prize in the Undergrad competition, while Austin Merchant's presentation won 2nd Prize in the same division. In addition, Beth Kyre was elected President-Elect of OVEA and will serve in 2019.
