Research Interests

My research focuses on biological control and predator-prey interactions in various agroecosystems including cotton, soy and cucurbits. In cotton and soy, I study several species of stink bugs as well as kudzu bugs with a focus on food web dynamics. I am interested in the effects of generalist predators on stink bug populations with an emphasis on early season predation. I seek to better understand how various predators interact with stink bug pests.

In addition, I am currently investigating intraguild predation under various organic growing practices in squash and melon crops.
