Morphology: primarily epithelial-like, some spindle-shaped cells, mostly grows in suspension as aggregated round cells; Karyology: 65% diploid at 4th passage; Growth characteristics: population doubling time = 5 d, subcultured weekly using trypsinization (1:2 to 1:5 split ratio).
