Morphology: this cell line is mostly spherical to fibroblastic ranging from about 20 to 30 µm in diameter; Growth characteristics: cells grow in a loose monolayer with considerable clumping in dense cultures; Authentication: the microimmunodiffusion assay is performed to differentiate this cell line from other lepidopteran insects and pupal extracts from L. dispar; Subline: IPLB-Ld-67AB and IPLB-Ld-67AC.
