Morhophology: cell line consists of a mixture of two cell types, epithelial-like cells and spindle-shaped cells, both of which grow as attached monolayers; Growth characteristics: population doubling time = 45 hr; Authentication: RAPD and DAF-PCR analyses confirmed that the origination of the cell line as S. exigua.
