(From DSMZ website) Growth characteristics: cells are difficult to culture; split confluent cultures 1:2 every day (cells grow partly adherent, but trypsin is not necessary); maintain at room temperature (about 20 °C) without CO2 exposure (keep lid of flask closed); confluent cultures can be stored at 4 °C for up to one week without loss of viability.
