(From DSMZ website) Growth characteristics: split confluent cultures 1:2 about twice a week, but without using trypsin (cells grow partly adherent, but can be detached without trypsin); maintain at room temperature (about 20 °C) without CO2 exposure (keep lid of flask closed); confluent cultures can be stored at 4 °C for up to one week without loss of viability.
