Deramoudt, F. X., Monnet, S., Rabaud, J. N., Quiot, J. M., Cerutti, M., Devauchelle, G., & Kaczorek, M. (1994). Production of a recombinant protein in a high density insect cell cytoflow reactor. In: Animal Cell Technology (Eds.: Spier, R. E., Griffiths, J. B., Berthold W.), Butterworth-Heinemann, Oxford, UK, pp. 222-226.
Unique properties: rate growth of a recombinant protein (acetylcholinesterase) is produced with this cell line in a standard stirred bioreactor and in a perfused stirred bioreactor; total yield of AchE in the perfused culture was 13- fold higher than in the stirred culture; Growth characterisitcs: cell growth is linear and reached a maximum cell density of 5x10^7 cells per ml, with a stable cell viability near 90% in 13 days
