Congratulations to Dr. John Obrycki who has been selected as the next Bobby C. Pass Research Professor at the Univerisity of Kentucky Department of Entomology.  Dr. Obrycki will hold this position from July 1, 2016-June 30, 2020. The Bobby C. Pass Research Professorship was established in 2006. By naming a senior faculty member in the Department of Entomology as the Bobby C. Pass Research Professor, the legacy of Dr. Bobby Pass will be honored by this internationally recognized position. The professorship is awarded to a member of the faculty whose research interests are clearly linked to the missions of  Department of Entomology. This individual is a tenured faculty member who has made outstanding contributions to research and education in the field of Entomology. Drs Dan Potter and Ken Haynes are the two past Bobby C. Pass Research Professors.
