UK Entomology staff member and graduate student Laura Rosenwald has won the 2020 Shelby Stamper Award for Outreach. This $150 award is offered annually to an individual department member who has made outstanding contributions to entomology outreach during their time at UK. It's named in memory of Shelby Stamper, a former staff member who could always be counted on to volunteer for outreach projects. Laura served as president of the H. Garman graduate student club during 2019, where she coordinated much of the club's outreach efforts, and personally interacted with over 1000 people at various outreach events. She also created a series of educational videos for the Boyle County public library system during the pandemic. Congratulations, Laura!
