Raven Run: Event to Fight an Invasive Beetle

On Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Raven Run Nature Sanctuary, the U.K. Forest Entomology Lab, along with the Forest Health Research and Education Center and Lexington Parks and Recreation, are hosting an event to showcase efforts to combat the Emerald Ash Borer, an invasive beetle that is killing ash trees in Kentucky. The free program will include presentations, activities, and hikes for kids and adults. Events will begin at 9:15am and continue until 12pm. For more info, download the flyer for the event.
